Are you open? | Yes we are. We are very happy with our arrangement and tell each other pretty much everything!
Are you poly? | No. We may be open but we are not looking for anyone else to join our relationship.
Are you in a master/slave or dominant/submissive relationship? | No. Kink and fetish is a part of our lives, but (99% of the time) we keep our regular life and kink/fetish life separate. When we play, MartyCub tends to take the dominant role.
I have seen some of the people I follow on Instagram and Bluesky get asked similar questions in recent weeks, so if you follow the same people some of these may seem familiar to you, and yes some of my answers may seem very similar.
Could you ever have a non kink relationship?
So there are a couple of points to answer this one.
First - 'as in a boyfriend with absolutely no kink interest at all' - the answer is yes. Although kink is a part of me, it is not all of me. The kink side of me is what I choose to show people and 'let people in' if you like and it is not essential to make a relationship work.
Second - I could not have a boyfriend who has no kink interest and would not let me get my kink elsewhere. It is a part of me and I now know, from experience, trying to suppress part of you is not healthy in any way shape or form and I would not be willing to do that again to myself.
A bit more about this
So... I am incredibly lucky to be married to MartyCub. A husband for me is someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is a hefty chance that the kink side of it has minimal influence. Kink to me is secondary, however it will always be there as I explain above. I do not need kink to form a relationship and I can separate out kink, sex, and love.
I am not into Master/Slave, Pup, Daddy/Boy scenarios so there is little risk of those getting in the way of a relationship. I do like Dom/Sub scenarios, and temporary power exchange, however they will always be secondary to my relationship with my husband. If anybody suggests they would like more than this, then I would stop those contacts. I can, and sometimes do involve kink in my relationship with my husband however it is by no means mandatory.
